Garden Grove, CA - Bolsa Grande High School is one of three campuses in the Garden Grove Unified School District to install new stormwater management infiltration swales as part of the Drought Response Outreach Program for Schools (DROPS) funded by the State of California. Featuring native and drought-tolerant plant species which attract pollinators, these outdoor laboratories provide educators and students with a wide variety of environmental education opportunities from water recharge and soil samples studies to habitat species and ecosystem development. In addition to the Bolsa Grande project, NUVIS provided conceptual designs, construction documents, and construction observation for similar improvements at Los Amigos High School and Santiago High School.
