nu foundations

Founded by Robert R. Cardoza, PLA, FASLA, and Peter DiLallo, PLA, ASLA, in 1971 as Cardoza, DiLallo & Associates, our firm is rooted in a commitment to the responsible planning of open space with an awareness for preservation and conservation.

Richard E. Harrington, PLA, ASLA, partnered up with Bob and Pete, and the firm was renamed Cardoza DiLallo Harrington, Landscape Architecture and Planning Partnership.

nu vision

By the early 1980s, Leslee A. Temple, PLA, FASLA, and Robert W. Stone, PLA, ASLA, had joined the team and were infusing our creative process with nu solutions.  We combined this love of the land into a NU VISION of the future and rebranded ourselves as NUVIS Landscape Architecture & Planning in 1992, focusing on creating experiences that connect people with their environments.

nu future

Today, Perry Cardoza, PLA, ASLA and Robert Stone, PLA, ASLA lead NUVIS offices in Newport Beach, Pasadena, San Ramon, California, and Las Vegas Nevada, continuing its legacy of innovative landscape architecture excellence. The NUVIS team delivers forward-thinking, trend-setting design solutions for recreation, transportation, urban redevelopment, environmentally sensitive sites, and residential communities throughout California, the Southwest, and internationally.
