OUR TEAM

OUR STORY

Founded by Robert R. Cardoza, PLA, FASLA, and Peter DiLallo, PLA, ASLA, in 1971 as Cardoza, DiLallo & Associates, our firm is rooted in a commitment to the responsible planning of open space with an awareness for preservation and conservation.  Richard E. Harrington, PLA, ASLA, partnered up with Bob and Pete, and the firm was renamed Cardoza DiLallo Harrington, Landscape Architecture and Planning Partnership.

By the early 1980s, Leslee A. Temple, PLA, FASLA, and Robert W. Stone, PLA, ASLA, had joined the team and were infusing our creative process with nu solutions.  We combined this love of the land into a NU VISION of the future and rebranded ourselves as NUVIS Landscape Architecture & Planning in 1992, focusing on creating experiences that connect people with their environments.

2017 has brought us nu leadership, and we are branching out from our 46-year history to create a more streamlined design firm with a sustainable vision for the future.  We are refreshing and simplifying our culture and brand to reflect this nu vision.

Robert W. Stone, PLA, ASLA, and Perry Cardoza, PLA, ASLA, are now leading nuvis in a nu direction under a nu business model.  This benefits our clients and colleagues through improved transparency, a reinvigorated team, and nu creative project design solutions.  We are excited about this nu vision and look forward to creating memorable projects that achieve sustainable results.
